All Snowed In

This week in ISM was insanely unpredictable in every sense of the word. I, just like the rest of Texas, was shocked by the huge winter storm that kept everyone locked inside their homes for days. It made things very difficult all week, and I was lucky to have gotten a mentor visit prior to the snow storm. Other than that mentor visit, not much else happened with me in terms of ISM this week besides writing this blog and completing an assessment over my mentor visit. At my mentor visit, Rachel and I discussed the patellar tendon graft in depth and she answered all my questions stemming from both my own personal experiences as well as my research. I also had the idea of incorporating designing a better warm up for the Frisco High girls soccer team, as I am a captain and the warm up we do now is not nearly as effective in regards to injury prevention as it could be. I only had the thought at the end of my mentor visit so I just had time to run the idea by Rachel, but she seemed to like it and I plan to discuss it more in depth with her during our next one. I hope this next week in ISM is both more normal and warm.
